The Uni Innovation Campus Tour has officially kicked off! The first stop, themed Workshop: Zero to One – Starting a Startup from Scratch, was successfully held at University of Transport and Communications (UTC), delivering practical insights and powerful inspiration to the student community.
On the morning of February 3, 2026, the main auditorium at the University of Transport and Communications was more vibrant than ever. This marked the opening milestone of the Uni Tour series organized by VISI, aimed at connecting the startup ecosystem with passionate and ambitious students.
More than just a theoretical sharing session, the event created an open space where innovative ideas were ignited, enabling students to gain closer access to a structured and practical entrepreneurial journey.
The highlight that made the workshop truly compelling was the presence of seasoned experts — individuals who have been in the trenches and achieved remarkable success in the startup arena:
- Mr. Trần Phi Long: Director of the VNU Innovation and Startup Incubator, Founder of Fundwise.
- Mr. Nguyễn Thế Hùng: CEO of VINADES, Chairman of the Startup Procurement Ecosystem (successfully raised funding on Shark Tank Vietnam).
- Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Minh: Head of Sales, Marketing & Customer at Duc Thien General Hospital.
Instead of dry lectures, the speakers shared authentic, real-world stories — from failures and setbacks to the hard-earned lessons that helped them rise again and restart from zero.

The workshop attracted strong interest from a large number of students across the university who are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation.
The Q&A session was especially dynamic and engaging. UTC students raised thought-provoking questions about career direction, essential skills, and how to find the right co-founders. Direct interaction with speakers and experts provided practical perspectives — dispelling unrealistic expectations while keeping the entrepreneurial spirit alive.
The Uni Tour series organized by VISI has now completed its first stop, leaving behind meaningful emotions and tangible value. The “Zero to One” workshop has undoubtedly laid a strong foundation for students to step out of their comfort zones with confidence.
